- The 50 meter pool here is great and usually not very crowded. I often have the pool to myself.

- Great options for working out from straight lifting weights and cardio to rock climbing or use of one of two large pools.

- Check out the climbing wall! It's free for women on Wednesday nights from 6:30-9:00 during the semesters.
- Try TRX on Sunday nights with Annie...one of the best full-hour, total body workshops at the Rec!
- The earlier in the day you go, the better. Between 5-8 in the afternoon, the place is packed
- Take Vinyasa yoga with Holly or TRX training with Zach to get great workouts!
- The best time to go is anytime before lunch because it is the least crowded then.
- If you're a hardcore lifter, show up after 8 or you'll burn up waiting to get in on sets.
- They don't have any bumpers or Olympic equipment, and only one real pullup bar, so CrossFitters have to improvise a bit.
- Try a group fitness class with Jacky. She is fierce and fabulous!
- If Miami is in session the only reasonable time to go is 6AM.
- 6:30 m-f: always a group playing some pick-up games. Come join!
- First week of every semester all the group fitness classes are free
