Goombay ButchJanuary 5, 2016Checked out Marvins on a Monday night for their hip hop night and I wasn't disappointed. The layout of this spot is great and even with the cold temperatures outside, they still had a nice crowd.

New/Improved roof deck is way too packed on the weekends; but perfect for a drink, on weekdays. For food, can't beat the chicken and waffles. REALLY wish they still had the lamb chops though..

This is my favorite bar in all of DC. The rooftop patio is so much fun and the drinks are reasonable. Plus, the food downstairs is tasty, especially the burger. I've never had a bad time here.

Best rooftop lounge in the city. Good beer on tap and the people that frequent this place are always interesting. When there is a good DJ, this place is perfect.

Always a good DJ spinning upstairs. Probably has my favorite soundtrack of any bar in DC.
