came to the Stevie Wonder tribute show in the back room, which is a gorgeous, intimate space. the service and the beer selection were great too. I don't really come to Greenpoint, but I'd come back.
A uniquely designed restaurant with a penchant for tasty eggs, strong drinks, and live piano music. Good for an afternoon Date Spot on the weekends, but watch for crowds if it's getting late.
Greenpoint's diamond in the rough. The dimly lit atmosphere and excellent cocktails make it great for a romantic date. Live music puts it over the top.
Come in the evening and sit in the back room and listen to some live piano music. drinks are reasonable. After midnight it gets TURNT and they place dance music.
Free live performances and parties, check the website for schedule. Live piano in the dining room is a great addition. Great bar for a date or a small group of close friends.
Citrus cheesecake w/ chili chocolate sauce, blueberries, mint leaves, & a shortbread crust goes well w/ the lemony corpse reviver cocktail. The live piano in the back is delightful, drum Sundays, not
Pianist performance with a western salon style during the evenings on Saturdays . Late night, the place turns into a dance club. A great spot for the neighborhood to get jiggy .
I feel weird but no one has mentioned the French fries. It's a pretty big deal. So McDonalds (on a good day) has the best fries. If you're with me, you're with me. These are those fries.
Over-sized glasses, pageboy caps, & jazz-lovers galore. Your only competition: the dude on the white piano. But there's a schedule and pic of who's performing which night, so you can plan in advance! Read more
Bloody great cocktails with a great atmosphere to match. Back room is where it's at! Drinking with a pianist playing honky tonk on the grand piano in the middle it all class.
Service is very slow, no red wine by the glass, no ipa on tapppp. Still great atmosphere music makes it worth it. Only come if you have a chill night and dollar to spend
Great atmosphere and very knowledgable friendly bar staff. If you like gin and blackberries the brambleon is a must. But for serious drinkers the vesper is unrivaled.
Do you like brunch? Do you like live piano music? Do you like a menu with just a few options so you don't have to stare at it forever only to develop food envy later? Hi, have a seat.
The brunch here is soooooo good. $15. The back room is like being in Berlin, 1920s with a piano player right in the middle. Great ambiance. Great food.
The cocktails ($9-$11), like the bar itself, are a throwback to simpler pre-mango-martini times & include a manly man’s Manhattan & a true “Old Fashioned.” Read more
What happened to the late nite dance parties? This used to be a 2am stop off for the funky half of greenpoint. Apparently not during the summer of '14!
This bar is like drinking in the saloon where Doc Holliday poisons your mistress with a strychnine gimlet but you end up singing "L.A. Woman" together instead of exacting revenge.
