This place is excellent, a bit pricey but you can't really expect anything else of that quality to be cheaper in Manhattan, especially not in that area. Get the croque madame, it's stunning!

This is my favorite breakfast spot in the city. Get the asperges & Oeufs Broullés or the Saumon Fumé. For dessert or starter haha the white chocolate viennoise

Most would stop in for a croissant or pastry, but their pre-made sandwiches are very tasty (using freshly baked bread from the premises) and it’s a quick to-go option.

Get the plie au chocolate with bittersweet chocolate & crispy, flaky layers, I had two today. Brioche is divine. French onion soup is topped with ooey gooey gruyere. Best baguette So far.

My neighborhood go-to for a good pastry to go, or for a sit-down brunch! A croissant or the smoked salmon tartine is always a good choice.

May be known for its bakery quality (I myself love baguette. When I eat it, that's all I need) but brunch is lovely also. Free caffe Americano refill

Terrific, authentic Parisian bakery and cafe. Avoid the drip coffee though (weak), and go for their espresso drinks instead (strong and delicious).

Julia child once said, "How can a nation be great if its bread tastes like Kleenex?" Not here. The baguettes could be the best source of carbs on this side of the Atlantic. http://bit.ly/1jqwChF
