Izakaya w/ Japanese tapas & non-traditional ramen & great HH drinks. Stay away from the skimpy yakitori sticks. Order the Uni ramen w/ tomato, scallion, & Parmesan, grilled edamame, & fried squid legs
Izakaya w/ tapas & non-traditional ramen. Wish broth less salty & thick in Uni ramen w/ tomato, scallion, & Parmesan.Fried squid legs had light & tasty seasoning. Char shu buns were not too fatty&good
Pineapple & lycheemojitos are good @ $6 during M-F 4-8pm HH. Deep fried squid legs is decent & Grilled Edamame is 1 of best edamame apps V & I have ever had! LC, pls make this a regular menu item. 😋
Nice vibes inside like a dimly lit izakaya, with reasonable prices. Chikuwa is my go-to app! Small warm house sake is a small carafe for $10. The sukiyaki could be better. Will still be back!
Get the volcano. Best Japanese hotpot I've had here and in Japan. Add some udon at the end to fully utilize the soup. Karaage and brussels sprouts are solid starters.
Absolutely everything is affordable top notch quality, freshly made, good portions and truly delicious, with a quick friendly service. What's missing in a cool decor is made up in an outstanding meal!
Under rated for sure! Have been to dozens of ramen places in the city and this is better than most. Prices are super reasonable and no wait. Pork buns were great too.
Get the "lucky cat" ramen, well balanced portion of toppings, ramen, and noodles. On the same level of totto ramen! You can choose thick or thin noodles for your ramen.
Lucky cat ramen is excellent, pork bun is awesome, spicy tuna and pork rice bowls are delish. Cant wait to try the hot potvolcano. Open til 4am weekends, prices are really great.
It's not a classy but a great place to have comfort food. The spicy tuna tacos are good and the ramen is not bad. Quite place to have drinks with friends. Check it out if you are in midtown east.
The lucky cat ramen is a great start. Broth is very flavorful and the pork is nice and tender. The pork bun was disappointing, drown in mayo. Try the Japanese wheat beer Kawaba.
