Brooklyn NYDecember 31, 2013My brother-in-law grew up in Brooklyn before he moved to NJ. He bought me a chocolate fudge cake with fudge frosting once 10 years ago, and I have been hooked ever since, come all the way from NJ.

Brett AllenDecember 26, 2013Lords is a solid bakery but sadly no longer bake many of the goods they were known for. Mandel bread, checkerboard cake, black&white cookies are all gone. They seem to focus on red velvet cake :-(

The red velvet cake was the best I've tasted!! I suggest giving this place a try!!
Their cupcakes are decent but not the end all and be all... West Indians seem stuck on the red velvet ones but the cakes are a little too sweet for my liking so can't eat too much.. Try 4 urself
- If you have diabetes then lords isn't for you... If you don't want diabetes then lords isn't for you... Not much else to say besides that... Oh red velvet cake is the rage here

Shirley MckenzieJuly 8, 2015My tip is plzzz dnt eat here. Their cupcakes are disgusting and so is the customer service especially from the owner who is very disrespectful and whom I strongly believe is racist.
The red velvet is a million times better than cake,man raven' s dry cake.

Sandy PillardDecember 4, 2014I had the worst experience here and almost had food poisoning. I brought a piece of carrot cake and asked if it was freshly made. Of course I was told yes. Well, it wasn't and had mold on it.
