The kids love the pool with a beachy feel. The older kids play by the slide area, the younger ones playing in the sand, parents relax close by with the adult beverages
Best of the 3 hotels I stayed at in Orlando. Rooms are a little dated, but everything was comfortable. Hotel is beautiful if not a little pricey. Could use a better coffee shop than Starbucks though.
Such a beautiful hotel. Near everything and you also get fast pass access to Universal studios. The rooms are good (but not as clean as other Loews hotels), but the breakfast needs improvement.
It's a short run from the hotel to the parks and it's easy to beat the water taxis on foot if you're motivated. My son and I had a great time racing back and forth.
Best hotel on property. It is a little further from the parks (1.2miles) and about a 15 min walk. We took the Pedicabs and it was great. They work on generous tips, so tip generously! They work hard!
The hotel rooms are nice, there are multiple pools (one was abandoned at night and turned out to be a great spot to relax at), and the hotel is overall a great experience and well worth the price.
The lil shops are great and have cuteclothes One Thing! If u paid for a room with a BAY VIEW! make sure they give u a room not all the way at the end by the lobby b/c then u can't see the Bay!
If you're a Florida resident, park in the Universalparking lot for free after 6pm, walk to City Walk and get a free boat to the Portofino. Enjoy the restaurants & italian ice place there!
Don't miss Musica Della Notte every night at sunset (weather permitting). A unique blend of classic opera, romantic and festivemusic, along with 'popera' favorites.
Beat the Florida heat or treat yourself after a long day at the Universal Orlando parks with some tasty homemade gelato from Gelateria. You'll thank us! Read more
We stayed in suites with lagoon view. One suite was 1/2 grown up room, 1/2 Seuss themed kids room. Savings & comfortably slept 4 adults w/ sense of humor. Major complaint: No free wifi on the premises
Mandara oil is heavenly-got an 80min Swedish-definitely got all the knots out of my shoulders! Men's lounge has little cups of trail mix to munch on-haven't been able to find them in the women's
Beautiful setting with many outdoor eating options. Try their Harbor Nights events several times throughout the year. Take the boat over to Universal's CityWalk--very romantic.
A lot of my friends stayed here while we were in town and they all loved it! Don’t forget to swing by The Thirsty Fish for a great view of the lagoon and some adult beverages. Ciao!
This place is beautiful! amazing views, a water taxi to take you to and from Universal Studios AND your room key is an express pass! https://foursquare.com/view_photo?id=4fc109bee4b0c5923452b008
Going to Universal Orlando during your visit? Take your room key to a lobby kiosk, have your photo taken (cheese!), and grab your UniversalExpress Pass to skip the regular lines.
Beautiful hotel, nice staff, very clean rooms. Enjoy a drink at the Thirsty Fish and take the water taxi to Universal Studios or City Walk. Great place to stay!
If you're going over for early admission to Harry Potter and you miss the 6:30 ferry ... WALK! You'll definitely beat the next ferry! (or ride the pedicab if you're willing to tip!)
It is about a 15 minute walk along the waterway to get from Thirsty Fish (bay-side bar & cafe at Portofino Bay) to the turnstiles at Universal Studios Florida. Or take the watertaxi every 15 minutes!
Great hotel, excellent service and comfy beds with lovely linens. Get your room with the club room...snacks are wonderful. Again service here is amazing.
Stay at one on-site hotel, enjoy complimentary access to the pools and amenities at the other two on-site hotels (just be sure to carry your room key with you).
We were staying at the Hard Rock and were told that the Portofino had a full service "post office". They might have, but they had holiday hours that weren't posted on the website or the app...
Hey Hector M. I understand you think the $15/night parking is steep but I'm from San Fran where people pay $60-$65/night! So on the bright side... It could be worse!
