Was great to visit the Marks & Spencer Penny Bazaar. Staff were really friendly and knowledgable about the M&S Heritage Walk and the M&S Archive at the University.
Michael Marks, of Marks & Spencer (a 2011 Most Innovative Company), opened his first grocery stand at this market in 1884. He sold nails, soaps, and other items were for roughly one penny each.
