Loved the "Surtido criollo" a few of almost everything! Couldn't finish it cuz I ate a "Caldo gallego" before.. Don't do that! You can't handle 'em both! The cocktails are loaded with extra booze!
This is a popular Cuban restaurant in Miami, along with Versailles (they're owned by the same people). Portions are quite big.I love the plantain chips with mojo.
Ropa vieja, sweet plantains and the fried cassava is to die for. There's also a sweet man at the end of the resgister that takes your food to your table if you have too many bags on your hand. Awesome
Staff is usually friendly an attentive. I've been coming here for years and I've never been disappointed with the food. This is a great place to eat. Check the specials of the day.
This is the quintessentially Cuban exile restaurant - cheap, tasty, huge pictures of Cuba on the walls, and where Miami's cops go for late-night coffee. But La Casita down the street has better food.
Very authentic experience. Great Cuban food. The staff does not speak English even though we are in the middle of miami! I still love this place though.
"Un café con poca azúcar en taza por favor". Say that to the lady at the coffee window outside. The cafecito here is solid. The cortadito? Not so much. Go to Versailles for that.
