My new favourite spot for having a group dinner. Cooking together is super fun and with Happy Hour it gets pretty good value for money. Food is great of course and their EggFried Rice is to die for!
Yummy BBQ. All the kalbis, especially with miso or garlic butter, and the harami skirt steak. Pork cheek wasn't bad too. Go on Monday when it's ala carte happy hour all day. Recommend reserving.
Lunch value set for £8+gratuity ... Really great value. I thought it was a choice of the 3 types of grilled meat ... But it was the 3 of them, beef, pork and chicken. I will come back.
Amazing food. All round great restaurant util they turned on the fluorescent lights and stopped the music to drive people who were eating out. Would probably try again but avoid for special occasions
I love the food...the service is so bad. I know they are busy but It takes 20 minutes to get just even a drink. Some times have been better but it can be EXTREMELY slow going when you’re first seated.
Lunch deal is decent but probably works best for groups up to about 4. We were in a huge group for a leaving lunch and it was hard to cook and keep track of everything!
Skip the set menu and go a la carte. KalbiShort Rib and Harami Skirt Steak are a must as is the Sparkling Sake. Full review on Scoff: http://scofflondon.com/restaurants/kintan-review/
Horrible service- we ordered meat lover menu. They were very slow to take the order. In the end, we were told we have no time for dessert although we have to pay for it as it is part of the set menu.
the service we experienced wasn’t that great. We waited up to 20 minutes for our dessert & was pushed out the door as the Resturant was closing. We felt very unwelcome - not sure if I will return.
Place looks nice and staff was polite, but my chickengarlic noodles portion barely had any chicken... if there were 20-30g of chicken in that portion I’m lucky :(. Disappointing!
