This is one of M. St hidden gems. The desserts selection and the coffee options are great. I come here to order the beignets, I enjoy dipping the beignets in my coffee. An absolute pleasure of mine😋
Amazing Austrian cafe tucked away in the heart of Georgetown. The food is fantastic—fresh ingredients and well prepared—and the pastries are delicious. Don’t forget to try the Sachertorte!
I took the chicken salad, the chicken is not seasoned well and it’s actually grilled chicken with greens on the side not a salad. The place is nice with an outdoor area
Very enjoyable European fare with a particularly great brunch. Got Mediterranean flatbreadbrunch alongside banana crepes. Great dining experience, especially in the heart of Cady’s Alley.
Baked chocolate mousse with coffee ice cream is on point. Emperor pancake is better for 2 people and a good non-sweet dessert. Coffee was great. Apple strudel was great too
Came here on a busy weekend with a line out the door to get in. Ended up walking past the line and grabbing 2 seats at the bar, no wait. They have Eggenberg Pils on draft and a boatload of sweets.
Nice, cleanwater bowls for your dog in an intimatecourtyard with a fountain. Very European, from the excellent cafe au lait/desserts to the kind, welcoming attitude towards pets. A favorite of ours.
The Bitches say: B+. Kafe Leopold is a quaint cafe with an extensive international menu and patio seating. It's a good retreat from the hustle and bustle of M Street. Read more
Great location in Georgetown with delicious light takes on Austrian cuisine. Everything is made with meticulous care and you will not be disappointed. They also have great coffee and desserts.
It's got charm, an outdoor patio, fluffy lemonpancakes, and a long window display full of chocolate desserts. Great for the morning before the inauguration. And maybe the morning after. Read more
Quite scene-y on a Saturday night. Louboutins everywhere. Service= sweet but unobtrusive to a fault. Karamell Grey cake= wonderful. Delightful oasis, esp on a Sunday afternoon. VERY dog-friendly, too.
Ok this place is really tough to find, but worth the trip! It's actually across the street from the odd-numbered side of M Street, down a flight of stairs in a little courtyard called Cady's Alley.
Nice area. I went for breakfast but I think it's better as a lunch or dinner venue. Breakfast has a limited menu. AC was way too hot for a cold day when I got there but they turned it down on request.
The food here is fabulous but our service was a little slow. We had second thoughts about dessert because it took so long for our server to circle back to us. The food really is phenomenal though.
The savory tarts are out of this world! The desserts taste as good as they look, which is saying a lot because they're so lovely. Croque madame and trouthash, yum!
service is beginning to lack... a little expensive, however. go here strictly for the tea sandwiches, drinks, coffee and desserts. the fraisier cake is to die for!
