Rooms on cove side do not get relentless heat from sun in the afternoon (also don't get beautiful sunsets, so that's a trade-off). We are here for 50 days, so we just walk to see the sunset.

Every Thursday evening, check out the Fia Fia Show. Chief Sielu Avea leads a very entertaining Polynesian revue. You may even end up on stage! And the food in ono (delicious)!

When headed to the lagoon, take a right and walk to the end of the path. Then take the smaller walkway down to a "secret" beach. Perfect spot to watch the sunset.

- Cellular Internet better on hotel's east side. Spent 10 days on west side; my Verizon MiFi didn't connect. Moved to east side, got 4G LTE. AT&T also better on east. Hotel wifi is slower than MiFi.

If you do want to get around, best way would be to rent a car. Otherwise.. U stay here at the resort!

remember to get your parking validated. it's a whopping $35 to valet here and the car valets are not nice. no aloha from them

Big property I'm on the 12 floor I have to walk all the way by the elevators on my floor for goursquares to work ...... Even if I sit outside on the lani it doesn't work
Saturday Night Seafood Buffet! So good ... So much fresh tasty food to pick from.
Do yourself a favor at the breakfast buffet by getting the Belgium waffle with coconut syrup... Delicious!
