- Large cafe cortado (with condensed milk) is strong and delicious, presuming you like expresso drinks a little sweeter. Service is very good. Be sure to ask for a punch card. Every 10th drink is free.
- Xinia GabrielaOctober 10, 2013OHMAGAH the latte arequipe is heaven in a cup. I wish I lived/worked in the area to have it everyday (or maybe it's best that I don't).
- LiLLiES RestaurantOctober 24, 2012Try the Beet Salad! It's excellent. Along with the homemade hummus and soups. The specials change daily. I have never been disappointed here. Hidden gem!
- Asri TriesnasariMay 10, 2014Not only that they have a very nice strong coffee, but also best warm snacks.. Perfect for those who crave for 2nd breakfast & elevenses.. Saltena, corn breads, empanadas..
- I second the tip about the Campesino. Also, if your Spanish is good, this is also a great place for conversation; met many wonderful folks here from Worldbank & Organization of American States.
- Steven AndrophyNovember 27, 2014The latte arequipe is the best. The only bad thing about this place is that it isn't open on weekends.
- If it's too warm for a hot beverage, try the Nonfat Coffee Nevado, without whipped cream, or the regular with whipped, if calories aren't a concern.
- LeelaJuly 30, 2013delicious coffee, decent Colombian pastries (pan de bono is the best of the bunch).
- Make sure to ask for a punch card when you order a drink. After every 10 beverages, you'll get one free.
- Try a Cortado. It's a combo of condensed milk and espresso. Hard to find this drink at most coffee joints.

- The Campesino is my favorite drink here, and no other coffee shop around town has anything like it. Give it a try!
- Sam KallevigOctober 6, 2010The pecan bar is amazing. Goes well with the campesino or any other coffee.
- Jeffrey BurkaMarch 15, 2013Not as good as visiting a Juan Valdez Cafe in Colombia, but they still make a decent campesino.
- JohnSeptember 17, 2012This place is only for real coffee drinkers. Amateurs should stay out and settle for Starbucks.
- Gwynne KostinNovember 18, 2010Once you drink Juan's, Starbux is like walmart. The simple cafe con leche is sublime.
- Go to Juan Valdez Café and try a double espresso with arequipe, yum!
- Scott McConnellJune 28, 2010Coffee-time, Register isn't working, if you don't have cash they are offering "IOU's". Very trustworthy.
