Serious Eats: Cozy tavern with a good wine and beer list but mediocre-to-bad food, including its specialty deep dish pizza. Fine for a drink but avoid the crowds.
2671 Broadway (between 101 & 102 Streets), New York, NY

Serious Eats: The slices are large, a little salty, and moderately greasy in that great New York slice kinda way. The aged mozzarella is flavorful and sparingly applied, and the sauce is sweet and tangy.
Village Voice: Get the black olive and sausage pie-The loamy fennel sausage is freshly made, the tomatoes bright tasting, the canned olives saline, and all the flavors come together deliciously!
Serious Eats: A huge tourist spot, to be sure, but the pizza here is good. Cash only. Whole pies only. Stay away from the clam pie, even though it may be recommended elsewhere.
