My all tome favorite restaurant on DC. They've reorganized the menu a bit (and jacked up the prices on some of the more popular things). Would recommend the cebolla asada and the ensalada rusa.
Head's up...the Penn Quarter location of José Andrés' Jaleo is due for a facelift in the coming months. So stop in and enjoy the lengthy tapas menu now.
I've been coming to Jaleos for 17 years...even did a promotional commercial for them and have known Jose Andres for almost 15 years. The food is consistently fantastic and the staff is amazing!

Don't miss the pan con tomate or asparagus with romesco sauce. The pan con tomate is way better than the complimentarybread. The patatas bravas are mediocre, but the rest of the menu is solid.
