Great wine list and an array of small plate dishes have kept this Italian wine bar on the top of chefs’ lists for years. Chef Ivy Stark (Dos Caminos) “I go for some late night wine, cheese and salumi"
Great little place to hang out with a friend. They have outdoor seating, weather permitting. Highly recommend the truffle egg toast, it was amazing! Would definitely come again.
Everything is good, I recommend the Ragu Pork specially, but any item in the menu is actually really tasty. Have all the bruschetta combinations as an appetizer, perhaps you'll stick to it all night.
Wonderful ambience, fabulous food and splendid service. Order just about anything and it'll certainly wow you. Especially recommend the chocolate pudding dessert.
Try the Brochette with Ricotta and Peppered Honey... delicious. We had a simple order of meatballs and spaghetti and it was amazing! Great Service and atmosphere!
Truffle egg toast is a good dish to try for its interesting flavors and texture. Menu is hard to navigate through since it's all in italian with no english translations. And music is overly loud.
Another perfect date spot. Great wine list and small plate menu, plus Jason Denton is one of our favorite SideTour hosts. Live a day in his life: http://bit.ly/JRsFeS
Perfect for late Saturday nights people watching in the summer. They open the window/walls so you can watch all the stumbling while safely seated with your bottle of wine. Truffle egg toast!
For those nights when you want to sit outside without getting trampled by passersby. Order any (or all) of the bruschetta listed on the menu and you will not regret it.
might be my favorite italian restaurant in the city. go for one of their tasting menus, more than you can finish and lots of amazing dishes you probably wouldn't think to order otherwise.
With over 600 selections, varietals from every wine-making region in Italy, and numerous older vintages rarely seen on these shores, the wine list is simply astonishing.
Pre 6 o'clock happy hour gets you a featured glass of white or red (the white today was a falanghina)) and a bruschetta for $6. A nice afternoon treat.
Excellent small Italian plates that are perfect for sharing. Definitely get the Lasagnette di Melanzane. And if you need any wine suggestions ask the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Although heavy on southern Italian wines(better 1's arguably are from north) the quality is good. The food select is comperable to d wines. Staff is friendly and the crowd is nice with a bit of trendy
Ok at best. Other places in the area that are much better. When in the LES, I would head elsewhere. Menu could be better. I love garlic but this was over the top.
