- Maya BarzilaiAugust 20, 2013Such a hit every time w/ Middle Easterners and/or anyone else! Brussels sprouts, warm eggplant, and kibbeh are delicious -- not to mention the ilili candy bar dessert. Great cocktails, too!
- Rewan PartiApril 7, 2015They have amazing ambience and drinks! Must order the duck shawarma. Brussels sprouts are delicious. It is the best Lebanese food in the city period!
- JohannaJuly 22, 2015Try the hummus with jalapeño, and the labne. The Brussels sprouts look unusual - like a Waldorf salad - but I get why it's the most popular thing on the menu. Seriously delicious.
- SafiaAugust 10, 2015The food is really good and great dishes for sharing. We did not order main dishes, but we ordered most of the top dishes in the first page and they were realllllly good.
- They have half-price cocktails at happy hour! M-F 4:00-7:30. Try the Aleppo Limeade (spicy!) or the Fresh Meadow (sweet + cucumber-y).
- Vicky SunMarch 17, 2014Very generous portions, split 2-3 appetizers and 1 main course for a filling meal. The seared tuna is delicious, as is the lamb tenderloin kebob. Cocktails are on point.
- Halstead PropertyJuly 10, 2013Who knew Duck Shawarma would be so fun to eat? This delectable duck went marvelously with the fig jam’s sweetness and was served in individual cones for each person to experience and enjoy.
- Ria BJanuary 31, 2015everything here is a great choice. every damn thing. don't leave without getting the ilili candy bar for dessert, you will regret it for the rest of forever and ever
- seth meyerowitzFebruary 18, 2019We were excited for the beautiful space. First put us in secluded upper room (basically a 12-15 seat closest). Food was good, service slow. Just make sure to make a reservation in main dining room.
- Abby BandaAugust 29, 2012Thanks everyone for the tips! I tried the Brussel Sprouts, Hommus with Pita bread, Fries, Candy Bar for dessert and From Beiruit with Passion cocktail! LOVED EVERYTHING! Great Spot!
- Renan CakirerkJuly 2, 2013Everything is good quality but for someone who lived in Turkey for 20 years, there's nothing really fancy. Drink Arak if you like Raki. Baba ganouj wasn't good. Brussels sprouts is tasty.
- CompassMay 16, 2014The Lebanese and Mediterranean flavors at ilili are unique and funky with dishes like shawarma with fig puree. The bi-level restaurant also doubles as a lounge after dark.
- Jimmy ChrabiehJanuary 13, 2014One of the few delicious Lebanese food places in Manhattan, Tabboule, Hummus, Shish Taouk and more on the menu. Set in a modern atmosphere with dark lighting, but slightly overpriced.
- Duck shawarma for the win. All the mezes were delicious. Make a reservation if you want to seat at a table.
- Ameen AqeelJuly 30, 2014Delicious Mediterranean food. Hommus and baba ghanoush, warak enab, falafel, batata harra, chicken liver and the mixed grill was very good as well.
- Kayleigh HarringtonJanuary 25, 2017Labne and Phoenician fries!! You won't want to share them. Truly everything is good here. Come for lunch.
- Sa BinaJuly 5, 2017Everything on the menu is good (wasn't a fan of the Spinach dish and the Lebanese ice cream). Brussels sprouts and lamb are a must!
- Camila PeixeAugust 26, 2010If you ever had raw kibbeh before and crave it as much as I do, this is the place. Come with an entourage if possible so you can try more of the appetizers. Stunning lebanese food.
- April DitoJuly 8, 2015The Brussels sprouts were out of this world. We also had the potatoes, tuna, feta cheese and falafel. One of my favorite meals in the city.
- Harlan HillNovember 12, 2016The Brussels Sprouts, the veal bacon and the duck shawarma were all fantastic!
- Michael G.November 1, 2023As good as a restaurant gets. Food was insane, and the service and ambience are perfect. Loved the duck shawarma so much
- Philo4ThoughtFebruary 9, 2015Very interesting. Nice ambiance and friendly service. A taste of the Middle East with a few unexpected twists in flavor. Try it and see for yourself.
- Giulia MOctober 4, 2015Warak enib bil zeit, falafel, Brussels sprouts, Phoenician fries, mixed grill, lamb chops, citrus trout, knafe bil jibneh (!!!!), candy bar
- Sam ShaqareqNovember 25, 2012Phenomenal! EVERYTHING is good which makes it very difficult to choose. But thank God for small plates right? Definitely on my must do's whenever I come to New York!
- Nikki 🌺January 4, 2013The mini falafel, shwarma cones, and hommus are great! Cute date spot for cocktails & sharing plates. Upstairs is too stuffy though. Drink/eat downstairs for 1/2 the price.
- Matt 👀January 27, 2016Soooo good. I still prefer Balade for Lebanese but both are amazing. Big fan of the Brussels here.
- Kay JayJanuary 1, 2017What cam I say, the Lebanese style food is absolutely great, and I love the Lebanese Lager being offered as well. Good food, service.
- Pedro Henrique de FreitasJune 15, 2015Mixed grill - definitely the best arabic food that I've ever eaten with good value for money. Beautiful place as well and good service.
- Leemor YuravlivkerDecember 22, 2019Great Brussels sprouts, everything else was alright but not mind blowing. Cool square falafel though
- Emily RMay 17, 2010Went to Ilili this weekend. AMAZING food. The fries are as good as they say and it was hard for me not to everything off the menu but the Mezza sampler plates are a great choice. Very shnazzy bar :)
- RanimAugust 9, 2016Amazing food friendly staff and so neat. I recommend it for who wants a real Lebanese food
- Lori LuoAugust 11, 2014The mezzes (appetizers) are stronger than the entree dishes here. Stick with the Kibbe Naye Beirutieh (steak tartare) and Arnabeet Mekle (pan-fried cauliflower).
- Holly RingleFebruary 5, 2019Have the Brussels Sprouts, Mixed Grill, hummus - and cheese cake-y dessert. So good. I’ll be back!
- stephanie scheperFebruary 13, 2014my favorite mediterranean in NYC; get the hummus w. basterma, chankleesh, and BRUSSELS with fig jam & grapes are to die for.
- Nastia 🍋Limonchik🍋May 23, 2015Absolutely best for grilled lamb . Take the grill variety plate , great for 2. Yum ! Cozy place and delicious cuisine
- Chris EvansJuly 16, 2014Mezas are amazing. Much better to order a bunch of the small dishes than sharing the mains. And always ask for more bread after you eat it all
- Marwan MzOctober 10, 2015We ordered a duck Shawrma and we did not like it. However, they serve lovely falafel with hummus and hot bread ❤
- RihabDecember 29, 2016I highly recommend ilili 💕 for their great service & delicious dishes. Don't miss their "Batata Harra" 😍
- Serious EatsMarch 25, 2014"Labne and eggplant small plates are well worth an order, as is the super tender and assertively spiced mekanek lamb sausages.
- Kaitlin LipeMarch 4, 2010If you go during Restaurant Week, they give you two appetizers, an entree and a dessert for $35/din. It's...quite amazing and gives you an astounding variety of Lebanese food! Delish to boot :-D
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantJune 5, 2019Went to a private event here. The food is Lebanese and incredibly tasty. Not my neighborhood but would try this out again.
- Gary RelojAugust 13, 2012Order a la carte or from a $25 prix fixe menu that includes 1 entrée, 1 side dish, 1 drink (coffee, tea, juice) and 1 cocktail Read more
- David HuMarch 14, 2014Hey you remember that one time all the tips on foursquare told you to get the Brussels sprouts? Yeah do that.
- Susan LaiDecember 6, 2017Octopus was tender & amazing. The brussel sprouts were crisp & decadent - definitely not your healthy version.
- Kate FurmanApril 20, 2015Get the duck shwarma and mixed grilled plate to share. The lamb here is excellent with yogurt sauce.
