There's something for everyone here, and even the salads are good (while you watch the rest of the people at your table scarf down burgers). My guilty pleasure is chicken fingers with mixed greens.

Dive-y diner. Not too pricey and has some delicious food to boot. The neighborhood is great for a short little excursion! Perfect for vegetarians, vegans and carnivores alike.

Killer comfort food. Pierogis, cream cheese stuffed jalapeños, buffalo chicken sandwich. You really can't go wrong.

Get the BLT & A. It comes on toasted brioche with lemon mayo, and arugula as the L. For a diner BLT, it's pretty exceptional.

Hot wings are tender and delicious! I could have liked them a step hotter, but the balance of taste to texture more than makes up for it!

Excellent burgers, and nice beers, but nada on draught. Nice, easy bike ride from BK Hts. No @citibikeshare here yet. Need that.

Ham and scallion hash for Brunch are the best on your IKEA or Fairway visit. Or just walking by the water.

Cute little place where the diners mostly live nearby. Good food but small, uninspired beer selection.

The eggs on a tortilla are a spectacular choice any time of day. And it definitely calls for some Tabasco love.

Buttermilk pancakes are explosive. As good as, if not better than, the pancakes at the New Floridian on Flatbush.

Although the space and staff are certifiably charming, the food undeniably has that Sysco je ne sais quoi.
