Decent stay if travelling to/from Paddington - base room upgrade to GWR Tower Wing with HHDiamond to refurbished rooms of high standard. Literally on top of station and underground.

ElleFebruary 11, 2019Expensive and not such a comfortable stay. It was tight with a suitcase, heating was insufficient & no hot water in the shower. You need to upgrade to a Tower or Executive room to be comfortable here.

The quickest way out of the station now is through the Hilton and you get the door opened by a nice man in a uniform

If arriving at paddington, it's easy to meet taxi put front of hotel. Just take the escalator by platform two up to 2012 shop and cut through hotel. Great!
Great location and room sizes are decent. Though bathrooms need an upgrade. They also have a ticketing machine installed on the premises for Heathrow Express tickets.

Rude staff. Old rooms. Can't get a drink past 11 at the bar. Have a piano in the lobby but don't touch. Convenient to the station. That is literally the only thing that they have that's positive.
The Muirgold Suite is excellent with an awesome balcony and view.

Very annoying and expensive internet connection set-up. And not enough plugs in the room. Would be a reason not to stay here again in spite of good location near Heathrow Express
