The house built in 1892-94 for successful German-American brewer Christian Heurich. It is the city's best preserved Richardsonian Romanesquea architecture. John Granville Meyers was the architect.
Christian Heurich, the District's oldest and most successful brewer, built this fireproof house in 1894. Today, it is one of the country's most intact Victorian homes, and one of the city's most unique examples of local history. The museum is open for tours & available for special event rentals.
