Heidi's Pancake House opened on the south shore of LakeTahoe, CA in 1964. Inside is country kitsch decor mixed with a German/Swiss theme; lots of paneled wood, stained glass and murals of the Alps.
The Yodeler combo was fantastic. Three eggs, choice of meat, choice of pancakes or fries and then bread or biscuit. Includes coffee and juice for around $14! Food was tasty, service was fast.
Was told the wait would be 40min. It took almost 2hrs. No pancake is ever worth a 2hr wait..also horrible hostess service & rude. Our server was kind tho, not his fault the hostess sucks @ estimating
Please don't waste your money here. Service was rude. Food was gross and over priced and it seemed like everyone talked like they were robots. No personalities here!
Heidi’s Pancake House, as our locals have named us, is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal with a group of friends. Not only do we serve breakfast, but we also have burgers, salads, beer and wine.
