Try the sampler and choose your 5 beers. The Kölsch and the Belgian-style IPA are excellent if they have them on tap. Great pairing with oysters and a crab roll.

Had to lobster roll with my stout. The best combination! The stout didn't kill the flavors of the lobster roll which was tasty and enjoyable. It was caught fresh on a Friday that we went. Enjoy!
Great location with tasty microbrews and pretty good food. Can get really crowded so wait times may be quite long. The bar often has live music and the outdoor seating is cozy even if foggy and cool.
We love this microbrewery about 30 minutes south of the city. Snag a spot around one of their outdoor fire pits and sample HMB Brewing's goods, named after the famous Mavericks surf break. Read more
Such a great place to sip on a beer and eat some fries! I'm not much of a beer drinker, but loved their lightly hoppy beer, the first one on their menu.
I like this place a lot. The food and beer always hits the spot even though it's not amazing. Combined with sitting outside watching the sunset, makes for one of my favorite dining experiences.
Awesome spot to visit on Hwy 1. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the view of Half Moon Bay. The food is good, the beer is good and the view is good. What more could you want?
Healthy kid meals are served here! Grilled prawns, rice, spinach, and non-spicy mango salsa. They also have the usual Mac and cheese and burgers for kids too.

Try the Mavericks Kobe BreweryBurger - Great burger with all the fixins; get it with cole slaw, crispyfries, and a Mavericks Princeton -by-the-Sea IPA!
I love HMB, but there's not a hell of a lot of nightlife. This is what happens when you're hungry or bored I'm HMB. Enjoyable place for a typical bar with your typical food.

I’m not sure who outnumbered who, the tourists or the wasps buzzing around the tables. The food was ok, service was slow but, like I said, the wasps were plentiful.
