It gets crowded but not unpleasant, in the summer so if your new to the area don't let the winter version give you the wrong impression.
you have to try the fresh apple donuts! I like the sugar-coated ones (shock!) but the cake ones are great, too

Buy the "foccacia's" from the French bread dude in the short shorts...they are AMAZEBALLS. The Portobella one w/mozzarella is my fave, but they all rule.
