Most Sundays are Dollar Days (check their calendar to be sure). $1 beers + $1 hotdogs = a good time. Unfortunately they ran out of hotdogs pretty early, but the beers were flowing until the 7th race!
Go on a Dollar Day, which they have on Sundays. Dollar parking, admission, drinks (water, cheap beer, and sodas) and hot dogs. You can pay $2 a person to go up to the box level (better views).

Movies and TV did no justice for me. I tried to look presentable by wearing a blazer. Don't do it! People will be betting on you instead of the horse! Better yet, don't shower...you'll fit right in.
