Traditional pie and mash with liquor. Give it a go, it's really good and the atmosphere is buzzing with locals all getting there pies and not paying extortionate tourist prices.
Keeping good old London ‘soul food’ alive for tourists and youngsters as well as the die hards like me who’ve always loved pie-and-mash or lovely peppery jellied eels.
For the uninitiated, liquor is parsley sauce. Great pies and service, don't listen to the moaners - they probably think proper pies and pasties involve the words Pukka and Ginster.
Typical Pie and Mash but I am Italian so this kind of food for me is not so expectacular. I can't judge the pie because it was my first one but old historic place with low prices in the centre of Gre!

Cheap but nowhere near the hype ! It's on trip advisor as one of the top 250 restaurants in London. Honestly terrible - go to Bianco 43 or the Rivington. Trust me. Lived here for 3 years
