- Marc SApril 25, 2015Parking Tip: with all the construction, only way to access underground parking under Discovery Green is to approach from North (from Minute Maid Park), southbound on Avenida de las Américas.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Great venue for a convention. However, you cannot bring in outside food, and the food available inside sucks. Home Plate Grill is the closest affordable option.
- Danielle MitchellOctober 16, 2016Nice center, with tons of space. Met one of my favorite actresses. Will return for any comic con orientated events.
- Awesome place to go to a convention, and it has been for years.
- Adrian ChenJuly 31, 2019Staying at the Hilton? There's a skybridge on the second floor that connects to the Hilton so you can stay in air conditioning 😬
- The second level has a convenience store next to Starbucks with Advil
- Social News NetworkJune 17, 2012Here at the Texas Black Expo. It is extremely cold inside so be sure to have a light jacket on hand.
- Joe WellsSeptember 28, 2019Good center - need phone charging stations. Good dining options in center which was good but would have liked more casual -cheaper options than sit-down restaurants or Starbucks.
- Right downtown! Good for what I️ would call smaller conventions, 8-10K attendees for example.
- Kathy JonesNovember 25, 2010Thanksgiving Volunteers, lines are long and they move quickly. Thank you for showing up and showing some love! Houston cares!
- A nice place for conventions and gatherings - parking can be a pain or expensive or BOTH.
- Nam (@Only398)September 9, 2011George R Brown isn't shady with their AC! If you're there all day...be sure to bring a jacket! I'm www.Only398.com
- Park in the South garage and take the air conditioned skywalk on level 2
- Bring a jacket! It may be hot outside but they blast the AC here.
- Children's CollectionsOctober 14, 2013Love the GRB.....For Conventions, and Gun shows.....And ladies, the Jewelry Show.....
- Milton PrejeanJanuary 14, 2014We love the scope and ranges of this powerful building. ( Facebook.com/ Milton.Prejean).
- CultureMap Houston ManagerMarch 6, 2012The Democrats chose Atlanta over Houston for the 1988 Democratic Convention because officials didn't think the George R. Brown would be ready in time.
- Tough to maneuver with all the construction taking place in early 2015.
- Rich DiGirolamoOctober 9, 2013Run as far as you can from the nasty overpriced Convention Center food and go one block away to Phoenicia Food Market. Just on the other side of Discovery Green
