Katarina KatsmaJuly 8, 2015You can never go wrong with Brat and Beer. And the outdoor atmosphere is super chill. The umbrellas are huge, so even if it's raining, chances are you'll still be able to sit outside.
Excellent pulled pork, good sides, nice rotating beer selection with acceptable prices for the neighborhood...but many, many times it is impossible to find a seat here. I recommend sunday boozing.

Order the fried donuts. Steve (aka Doji) is the best. He only works Thursday -Sunday.
The curry wurst is amazing... and even better when paired with traditional German beers!
This is my favorite place in DC. If you see Tad give him a high five from me and ask him for bacon.
