This ultra-trendy hotel draws in a young, hip crowd. Can be a bit loud so request a room on the quiet side of the hotel. The rooftop bar is a must visit for drinks, people watching & incredible views.
The rooftop bar is a great place to meet, with soaring vistas and various types of seating, including couches. The DJ sets up around 10:30, and the action really begins at 11.
My fave hotel in NYC, I love the atmosphere of the Meat Packing district and you are surrounded by great shops, restaurants and bars. Ask for a room at the back as can be noisy on the street side.
It is what it is. Gotta experience this posh NYC rooftop. Try an off time if year or night if the week, grab some drinks with people you care about, and head to the balcony to conversate over the view
Packed loud a bit showy. Nice balconyview. Not casual. It's for the more uppity people who have snobby Instagram accounts and have to post that they have been. Good view though for sunset
Just like 360 in Istanbul, with a panaromic view of the city, it is really nice and elegant. Very crowded at weekends. They do not have Mojito in their menu, this is a minus unfortunately >^.^<
Great location. Room was cramped. The hotel has a rooftop- party hotel. We had to show our hotel card and pass through security every time that we wanted to return to our room at night.Average service

Very busy here even on a Sunday night . Beautiful views of the Hudson river. Great to start out here and get your crunk on before hitting the nightlife in the meatpacking district
For the young, hip, in the know-how type of traveler. The rooftop pool provides a fun atmosphere to get a nice sun-kiss before hitting the manhattan night-life. - Austin, The A-List: New York

We’re pretty sure there are other reasons to stay here besides the spectacular rooftop pool...but more time researching meant less time by the pool. http://on.kayak.com/HotelGans
Have never stayed here as a guest but the rooftop bar is gorgeous in the summer and the nightclub at the bottom is pretty sweet - has fountains and small water pools between the tables
Whoever says this place is cool hasn't seen much in his/her life.. Very expensive for a 80s deco old fashioned bar with a modest view on a car park and some ugly buildings...true, view on the river!
