Kim B. • June 12, 2010Love this dog park! If you take your dog swimming first the stroll around the point and through the grassy area, there's less drying off to do later. ;)
Darren M. • April 21, 2014In the spring after the snow recedes, the fence is often compromised. Watch the dog closer than in the summer when parks and rec staff is fully engaged.
the BREL team • January 30, 2012A canine love-fest. One of the best dog parks in the west, & a great place to meet like-minded dog owners. Has a fully fenced-in run as well, for nervous parents or if you have "runners" (like we do)
Martin M. • August 20, 2018From playground for little ones to soccer field and tennis courts. Amazing oasis for all kinds of activities with lot of community events going on.
Liz F. • June 9, 2017I'm terrified of dogs, so I appreciate that there is a separate area where dogs can play without scaring people like me
Rachel C. • March 11, 2010They have just redone this off leash dog park - great place to take your doggy
Peter K. • September 19, 2012Really great dog park. Massive, enclosed, and always full of dogs. If you see lots of dragon flies in the air, leave immediately for there will likely be thousands of Mosquitos as well.
Lucy T. • July 15, 2023Great large park in midtown. Has a run/walk path, tennis courts, washrooms, flat area to play or sit on, dog park, borders a few other paths and the ravine. Lots of people watching opportunities.
orun b. • June 16, 2012The kinetic playground is a pretty awesome place for both kids and adults. Neat little hidden gem in the downtown core.
Gabriel S. • July 10, 2021Large off-leash area that runs through a forest. Lots of shade, moderate gradients & some steps. There're some boardwalks
Marta W. • January 27, 2011the dog park parking lot is closed during winter months, instead park North of the tennis courts
Aprile E. • June 18, 2015Nice park to sit in downtown, but people will talk to you. It can be a good thing.
Rachel S. • May 23, 2015Great space. Not a lot of shade, so bring a lot of water for your furry friend. Watch out for dog walkers with 5+ dogs (they often miss when one of their dogs poops).
