Get the sopa del mar or albondigas if you like homemade soup! Bryan LeearApril 13, 2011When at El Palacio make sure to get the burritos. All of the ingredients are so fresh including the salsa and chips! This is the perfect Mexican style restaurant that does not have a generic taste.
Love the salsa bar, craft and local beer selection and menu with variety.
Some of the BEST craft beer in the area. 8 Arizona beers pouring right now. That's truly noteworthy- Roy was an amazing server. Very attentive, knows the menu, gave great recommendations & friendly!

Service is slow most of the time...but the Taco Tuesday is good. So if you go and don't expect fast service you will have a nice time.
Michelle SMarch 7, 2016Awful! Chicken tortilla soup had no flavor and was a clear broth. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce with cilantro. The only edible items were the tortilla chips and beans. Would never eat here again.

Gus DAugust 12, 2012Chips, salsa and bean dip are average. The queso appetizer was very greasy, el padrino burrito was also greasy. Price was ok, $34 for 1 app, 1 entree, 1 beer and 1 margarita, but the food was terrible
- Michelle SMarch 7, 2016Worst "mexican" I've ever had. "Empanada" was a soggy flour tortilla with carrots and onions. Tamale was so dry it could kill you. Enchiladas had no flavor.
