Adrianna: Electronic components for projects. All kinds of batteries even more obscure (different from Sim Lim Sq)
Adrianna: Fun and beautiful spot for food . Aussie-Lebanese by a Singaporean chef seen to be most up and coming chef
Adrianna: Great sandwiches esp the "kong ba banh mi" by Ming, also up and coming chef
Gunnar: Worlds best zoo? I think so. Only zoo in the world to feature Proboscis monkeys.
Fredrik: Great Indian food. You eat with your hands! Not so crowded upstairs.
Fredrik: Molecular Indian Cousine. Upscale Indian food. Expensive but really great. Try the Indian wine from the Grover Winery as well (the owner of the restaurant as well as the Vineyard has his PE firm on the top floor).
Drew: New place, gonna replace The Plain. Best coffee I've had for months, amazing biscuits and pastries not on the menu - ask.
Drew: New place, fave Thai food. Not polished yet but consistently good food. Phad Krapow is top.
Drew: Craft beer place in a traditional hawker. Go get the Claypot chicken.
Drew: Great Claypot. Get the number and call and order an hour before.
Drew: Had the two best meals of my life here. They take no reservations apart from first sitting. Put your name down and get a drink nearby. Refuse to be seated facing the wall.
Adrianna: Fun walk along old railway tracks. Go when not raining (too wet otherwise)
Adrianna: Amazing little place with steak, pork knuckle, pork satay and Chinese street stir fry in typical Kopitiam style. Popular so book ahead
Adrianna: Good local coffee and kaya toast. Not quite the same since they sold their building to potato head across the road. But still good coffee
Adrianna: Wonderful showcase of how low end Cantonese food can still be excellent
Adrianna: The only vegetarian place I would bring vegetarian friends to for real local food. No mock meats or meat replacements, just clever but homely dining that makes me not miss meat for one meal
Milena: Takes you through how the city has transformed over the last 50 years and plans for the next decade
