- Brent MadisonJuly 4, 2015If you're looking for something a little less formal, then hit the bar on the left side of the restaurant. It's right on the water with great views of the ocean.
- Go straight for the bar, it's open seating, no need to wait for a table at the restaurant. Drink Mai Tais, the best in LA. Get the fish tacos and save room for the Hula Pie.
- Quickly fell in love with Duke's! My "neighborhood" bar with a great view. I could go on and on about this place but it's crowded enough usually! All the food I have had is great. Bartenders great.

- Social News NetworkNovember 14, 2013Brought a friend from Texas, she was in AWE. We had wonderful service and delicious meals...but by far her face every time the waved crashed on the windows was the best part ;)
- Offbeat L.A.March 21, 2015The history of Duke’s dates back to 1915, when it was a seafood restaurant called the Las Flores Inn. In 1944 it became The Sea Lion Inn. Duke's opened in 1996 after a fire and renovations.

- Alexis NelsonOctober 19, 2015I feel like they could have done better with the amazing real estate they have! The outdoor patio offers only a few tables with a decent ocean view - and the interior bar smelled a bit like old fish?!
- eric bornemannJuly 15, 2020Food is ok, but it’s really about the views. Get a table by the big windows in Fall and you’ll see dolphins and pelicans go by while you eat.
