Queensland Theatre Company's small black-box theatre which plays host to adventurous and intimate works. There's a small bar on the premises open before the shows.
This is the state's art collection, and there are some beauties here. I really like the water-court which also plays host to various exhibitions. It's cool and relaxing.
Say hello to Bessie the Bottle Tree in the courtyard. She's a gift from Roma in regional Queensland.
You can't miss the huge, grey QPAC complex. A really nice thing to do is to sit on the grassy green on a hot day and sip something cool from the nearby café.
A very relaxing small café and roaster tucked away in West End. Worth finding and enjoying the excellently prepared coffee. Expect locals with their pet dogs. Fun.
So hip you can almost not find it. If you like your coffee hot ask them. They serve it at that hip very warm temperature to bring out the flavours. Good.
A West End icon. The coffee is fair-good but the cakes and snacks are great. The ambience is what it's all about.
Very, very popular establishment at the Fiveways, West End. Be warned if you want to go for breakfast at the weekend. There's usually a line-up. Good food, friendly service. Coffee also excellent.
