Very close to the main Doha attraction area which is Souk Waqif. If you have a 'good' passport and more than 3 hours, it is good to go to souk waqif, have a coffee or sheesha and feel the Doha.

If u hav a transfer flight which is more than 10 hours then pls do chk whether thers ny other Qatar flight headin prior to urs.If so thn u wil nt gt ny assistance frm the travel desk like hotel stay.

TheSunApril 12, 2014It has very big Apron and between Parking places and Thé terminal is kind öf far.. It takes time arriving to terminal.. that s my chance actually:))) clean Toilets, cheap cigarettes, smoking room etc.

In addition to free WiFi and food the Quiet Rooms is good if you need to rest. If you are traveling with children don't miss the Play area which is worth a visit!

D FretoMay 11, 2014Oryx lounge is nicer than the silver fancy lounge. Oryx has showers, lounge chairs and computers. Silver is alright for short term but if more than 4 hrs, go Oryx

The new Qatar Airways Gold Card lounge is really cool - go to the new area in the back - usually very quite!

ThenomadonroadJanuary 9, 2014Do not expect aerobridges exist... All transfers done by buses and takes around 15-20 min to arrive at transfer point. Rumor said the new airport will open in june 2014.

Ramadan does not apply for foreigners at the airport, restaurants are open, eating and drinking take place in public

In the arrival terminal 14 out of 20 passport control desks are smoothly operated by Qatari female officers. Bravo Qatar!
