This place is delicious. A mix between traditional and Americanized tamales, the food is fresh, flavorful and light. They have a great selection of different styles. I'll be recommending to all!
The tamales don't have a lot of meat. the sauces do give them lots of flavor but it's mainly all masa. The slow roasted Cuban pork had the most meat. Chipotle chorizo and potatoes had the best sauce.
First time here! The tamales are all soo good, but watch out for the Atomic pork! Spicy!!! Try the "Not you Moma's Nachos" delish!! With the Garbanzo beans!!! It was the best! Affordable and friendly!
Did not care for the tamales at ALL. If your looking for authentic tamales in the neighborhood just go down the street to La Casa del Pueblo $3.00 for 1 tamale? Pitch in another $3.00 and get a dozen.
I was very disappointed. The masa for the tamales was flavorless with no moistness to it, as they should be. I tried three:corn w bkj bean, the cuban and roasted peppers. Bleh. Will never return.
