Combination of an amusement park, zoo, activity zone and aquarium. Our 3year old loved it, which in the end is what matters. Two days was plenty of time for exploring everything.
Kids eat free after 3pm at a number of restaurants. Please note: Only free when purchasing an adult meal, though it's still good value especially in the all you can eatPizza and Pastabuffet.
Nice park , gathering animals and safari with theme playing and adventure. Make sure to to buy a fast track tickets for all games, otherwise will be useless.
I really like it. We had so much fun. We play together. recommend please for all family with all ages of kids. I love how they combine the Zoo with the Theme park.
Use your annual pass and then get fast passes to skip the queues and make the most of your day. Great for 9-10 year olds as only a couple of rides which need height above 140cm.
Great rides, aimed at younger children but I found it fun too. The 'zufari'& whole animal section was superb. Food available in park is satisfactory but not great. The hotels are good.
Free tea, coffee or hot chocolate after 3pm for MerlinAnnual Pass holders. A lifesaver in this cold weather and it's subject to fair use which means more than one ;)
It is good for kids 6-10 year old. We came during a weekday and their were no queue at all. I am not sure it is worth queueing for any of the rides, especially if they are 60-75 minutes long
Families - go to Adventure Services to get a parent swap card AND get kids measured. They give them a wrist band so you don't have to keep getting measured
Get there before opening if you have to queue. In the holidays the traffic builds early. Better to go on rainy days. Head for the bigger rides first do everything else later.
Good day out, get a parent pass from Assisted Services if you have small kids so that only one parent has to que for the height restricted rides then the other parent goes straight on via the exit :-)
I went with my 6 year old son. Although half the park is good for that age the other half is not. Would be nice if they had some play areas for the younger kids like Legoland.
It's just 'zoo days' until March 2013 as the theme park season doesn't start until then. Don't bother coming until the rides open in March, the zoo is shit and there's nothing to do.
