Midnight at the museum is a great idea. The collection is fantastic and worth to see. You must read from the little books in each hall to understand the meaning of the art. Staff is really attentive.
Super friendly docents and desk staff, even though I went to a late nightevent and they were most likely exhausted. More intimategalleries than the Nasher or DMA.
This collection of Asian art includes more than 300 paintings, sculptures & architectural items. Although originally acquired for personal enjoyment, many pieces in this collection are museum quality.
Great collection of Dilip Raval photography on the first floor, and a small but interesting Asian collection of artifacts on the second floor. It's free, so check it out.
Beautiful exhibits show off Asian art from many countries and time periods. Visit the Lotus Shop after for original gifts and keepsakes from all around Asia.
Several gardenpatios dot the space between the museum (always free, by the way) and the Trammel Crow Building, providing a scenic break for families with kids. Powered by ParentsConnect.com
