With masses of blackcurrant & black cherry on the nose, the wine opens w/ great intensity. Jammy & smoky, toasty oak notes are well integrated. The palate is big, fat, dense & juicy w/ tremendous weight & fruit intensity leading to a long finish.

Our 2010 Mitsuko's Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc entices w/ its vivid & complex aromas of Meyer lemons, pineapple, mango, kefir lime, lemongrass & verbena, w/ undertones of tangerine, nectarine & flint. The wine possesses vibrancy & minerality, w/ a pitch-perfect acidity counterbalanced by richness, depth & lengthy fruit flavors.

This intensely–colored wine displays aromas of plum jam & blackberry syrup, framed by hints of baker's spices, vanilla, licorice, graphite & toast. In the mouth, the wine has bright & concentrated forward fruit supported by mid–palate volume, a distinctive fine–grained tannin structure & a lengthy cocoa–dominated finish.

Our 2011 Vin Gris possesses a fragrant & perfumed nose redolent of red raspberries & cherries w/ a hint of wildflowers & dried mint. The wine has a vivid entry w/ an expansive, juicy & elegant palate. This wine is built for pure refreshment & enjoyment - perfect for a summer lunch al fresco, or as a refreshing aperitif. Serve chilled.

Intense & exotic, our 2009 Origami is bursting w/ complex aromas of black & red cherries, cassis & boysenberries, w/ nuances of pipe tobacco, baker's spices & wet stones. This wine is classically-structured, w/ rich fruit & dense tannins on entry & graceful mid-palate volume. Lengthy fruit w/ pitch-perfect acidity complete the experience.

Our Syrah is composed of fruit from both the Dunaweal Vineyard in the warm Calistoga region & Mitsuko's Vineyard in cool Carneros. Dunaweal Vineyard gives us the fat, ripe & juicy Syrah notes w/ a luscious palate; Mitsuko's Vineyard gives us cool climate Syrah w/ spice & fragrance, density & elegance. Primary fruit aromas of fresh black cherries & boysenberries are enhanced by notes of spicy oak, violets & a slight hint of lavender. The palate is fleshy & juicy w/ substantial core of fruit framed by a round & creamy texture & long finish.

As the Portuguese have reminded us, the word 'Port' strictly applies to wines made in Portugal from a very specific area in a very specific style. We have used a Michael Graves sketch of our entrance Portico to slyly imply that the wine is a sweet, sumptuous & rich dessert wine w/ aromas of black cherry liqueur, blackberry jam, dried Mission figs, violets & spices. Luscious & juicy, w/ vibrant fruit on the palate, the wine has a perfect balance of sweetness & acidity, promising a minimum cellaring potential of ten years.
