Great place to visit, for all ages. Each exhibit is educational as well as entertaining. Staff is friendly, obviously dedicated to the well-being of the animals they care for. A gem in our community.
Loved our experience! Very educational, great for all ages, and goes towards such a good cause! They have group discounts if you think it is too expensive - $11.95/adult for groups of 10+
You must visit Winter & Hope from the Dolphin Tale movies. The team at CMA is amazing. They care for animals and people with special needs. Our son's visit with Winter was a dream come true.
Lots of fun. Definitely worth while if you have kids who loved the Dolphin Tale movies. Get there early to see the Dolphins before crowds! Make sure you've seen both movies, it will add to the trip!
Loved this visit so very much. Look for Hope and Winter. There are many shows throughout the day. This is an educational spot to visit. Highly recommend.
The best thing here is Winter the dolphin! Winter is the star at the aquarium! Her story has been live streamed and shared with kids & adults all over the world. She loves visitors, so stop by!
You can get yourself and up to 11 guests in for free with active military ID. The aquarium is kind of small. Don't plan on spending more than a few hours here.
Has construction on going. It’s not SeaWorld. It’s an actual working rehab center. So don’t expect big shows. But such a great place. Do the sealife safari. Such a great experience.
I was in a wheelchair and since it was packed it was really hard to move around. Was happy to support the marine hospital and the animals! Loved Winter, Hope and Panama!!
This is a working rescue operation and the money goes towards their efforts. Don't expect rides and cotton candy. But if your kids are curious and love animals.. Or just dolphin tale. They'll love it.
The family membership is very worth it if you are local. There are lots of local educational opportunities for free or half price on the reciprocal list.
Home of Winter the Dolphin from Dolphin Tale. The aquarium is a great destination for kids and adults alike. Check-In here to get 15% off the Winter's Dolphin Tale Adventure Gift shop!
Take the trolley going to the other side (movie props) and take the shuttle boat back. Great aquarium for a good cause. Humans let's take care of all living beings!
To see Winter - just to see her - is worth the fee. The fact that she allowed herself to be helped, adapted to her condition and thrives - is inspirational and humbling. The conditions, artistic
Don't take the trolley or boat! If you take the trolley from the beach location to the downtown location, (or vice versa) you will be stick without your vehicle for hours!
Purchase tickets online before you go especially if you will do photos or encounters . Expect to be there at least several hours if your with small kids they will love it!
Winter and Hope were nice to see. They are doing awesome work rehabilitating sea life. This is not a place to go if you are expecting shows or a set schedule.
Nothing like the FL Aquarium but tenants have more personality. This aquarium is more research oriented. It does not accommodate large crowds and is not stroller friendly. This pic was worth it:
While this is a non profit rescue with only a few animals, it is worthwhile. Think of your membership and family trip as a donation and an education. Please place this on your must do list!
Cool place to get close to the animals. Foursquare coupon is not valid here-only used at the Dolphin Tale Adventure.. be warned. They won't honor the coupon even though there is a sign on the door
Beautiful place watching winter and the rest of the rescue animals are wonderful feeling, and the hard work that this workers and volunteers do is amazing. :))
This is a non-profit dolphin rescue with 2 dolphins, 2 turtles, an eel and a few fish. Fine if you have a heart for that, but HUGE waste of money if you are wanting family fun.
Great family place! Not huge, but plenty to do for a few hours. I hate people who say its a waste of money....its not a zoo & your money goes to a good cause!
Not a great aquarium per set but they have the dolphin with the prosthetic tail from the movie. More of a marine animal rescue operation with presentations.
