After suffering as a customer at Gristedes for a decade, I finally discovered Citarella. Two things set it apart. The employees are visibly happier. The fish is fresh and tastes delicious!

Tucked away down in the village, this location has a great selection of low-priced soups, salads and prepared foods under $8. Great for grab and go or a post-workout meal.

Frugal gold: the Tuna here is better than the Tuna in most of the sushi places nearby. A small tuna steak is about $8, and you'll get WAY more sashimi for less money.

Нечасто встретишь в супермаркете горячие супы в разлив. Есть салаты "сделай сам" с > 3 десятками ингредиентов. Выбор продуктов заметно выше среднего (особенно рыба) как и цены. Нет алкоголя кроме пива
