- Berk KapiciogluJanuary 27, 2018After suffering as a customer at Gristedes for a decade, I finally discovered Citarella. Two things set it apart. The employees are visibly happier. The fish is fresh and tastes delicious!
- @JaumePrimeroJune 20, 2012Tucked away down in the village, this location has a great selection of low-priced soups, salads and prepared foods under $8. Great for grab and go or a post-workout meal.
- One of the finest deli meat counters around. Get yourself some San Daniele prosciutto and maple cured turkey.
- One of the best stops for gourmet prepared foods. Cheese department covers all of the bases. Seafood is one of the best in the city.
- Warning: You may not want to shop anywhere else after a couple of visits to this well-stocked, perfect selection of produce and prepared foods. Do not miss the soups.
- Frugal gold: the Tuna here is better than the Tuna in most of the sushi places nearby. A small tuna steak is about $8, and you'll get WAY more sashimi for less money.
- Best lasagna at the food counter- my mother makes me bring her some to California- and a few of their French baguettes! So good!

- Tastiest seafood sausage! They twist it in front of your face!
- Washington Square HotelMay 22, 2012Everything that you could want in a goumet food shop and it's only a few blocks away.
- Great salad bar, fresh meat, and adorable baked goods!
- Friendliest cashiers in New York. High quality at a high price.
- Produce is overpriced and not that fresh, though the premade food and sushi are good.
- amooliaNovember 28, 2011Spotted Mario Batali my first visit here. I just wish they sold more booze..
- OJNovember 26, 2011It's ok now that Fauchon and Balducci's left town... Try the creme brûlée in the pastry section.
- The sandwiches get really soggy in the afternoon. Average looking crowd.
- avoid mid-day Saturday unless you like being squished by slow moving biddies.
- Нечасто встретишь в супермаркете горячие супы в разлив. Есть салаты "сделай сам" с > 3 десятками ингредиентов. Выбор продуктов заметно выше среднего (особенно рыба) как и цены. Нет алкоголя кроме пива
