Now this is the place to go in Charleston. This is the top notch sexiest place. It's in the rear of the Wentworth mansion. All the guest and workers are dressed up. The food is more towards game.
What a meal! Go with the win pairing. It's worth it, up until their specialty port. Too raisin-y for my taste. Menu changes, but if they happen to have the beef, plain as it seems, go with it!

After visiting Middleton Place, Penelope went to Circa 1886 for Plantation Rice Rolls. A nod to Charleston's past, made from rice flour & served with whipped olive oil. A delicious starter.
Expensive but the food was amazing--sweetbreads and halibut were winners. Try the Night Blossom cocktail straight up with the 'dirty ice' on the side to add as you wish.
