Family home of Winston Churchill from 1924 until his death. Excellent collections of mementoes of his career and some of his paintings. Run by National Trust.

House is worth a visit, but make time for the gardens and woodland walk too. Nice views of the house from across the lake. Steps and no prams allowed in the house so a carrier good for babies.

Fascinating place to visit, the Monet in the drawing room is a highlight and good for a walk through the woods if it’s dry.

Surprisingly delightful number of vegan options on the cafe menu - which is rarely the case at places like this 🌱❤️ Great work National Trust.

Apparently the knowledgeable staff can't offer out information, they have to be asked. So get asking!
