Use checkpoint 6 all the way to your left past the Delta checkin areas. It will definitely save time. To save even more time, use the far left entrance to the checkpoint, the expert traveler lane.
If you're taking light rail to the airport, have already checked in, and aren't checking a bag, go up 4 stories to the concourse level to the security checkpoint there.
You can not use the skyway check in too early, flight left at 5:30 AM and it was closed at 4:30.
