Got a soy latte (my usual). Very impressed the barista specifcally paired espresso based on the fact that I used soy (nutty espresso w/ nutty soy). Nice attention to detail & knowledge of the coffee!
Something unique about Case Study is offering one coffee at several different processing levels (washed, honey, natural), each with different tasting notes.
Check out this cozy spot in the middle of downtown Portland! Walk in & enter a world of coffee-meets-library: make sure to bring a book, pen & paper, and a beanie.
both the jasmine matcha latte and the honey lavender latte weren't impressive as far as flavor and quality go, especially when considering the endless coffee shop options in the area
This is a good Portland coffee place. The coffee is good and affordable (not $5+ dollars like Stumptown), the baristas are friendly (Not salty and pretentious like Heart coffee). The music is good
Seats by the windows and at the bar have outlets, but the annex in the back have none. The coffee is a little sharp, but the wifi is plentiful. As of 2014-07-15 the password is casestudy.
Has a weird initial smell but the coffee is good, stuff are nice and the place is reasonably quiet, filled with a nice mixture of people and ages. Free WiFi too!
