Laura SoltAugust 22, 2014Good cider. Has GF menu but most options are include having the dish without the sauce since it's lots of gluten containing BBQ sauces. Pulled pork was excellent though!
Do yourself a favor and just order the IPA. Ask for samples if you want to taste something, but you simply can't go wrong with the IPA.
Maroon Effect is awesome, especially when paired with their ribs or "best in Roanoke" barbecue wings. Thursday is wing and sing, 0.50 wings 4-10 and karaoke 10-close. Sunday is SIN drinks and dancin- The maroon effect ale is one of my favorite beers. And I'm not even a Hokie.
- Appalachia Alt is a new regular brew. It is a German Style Amber Ale. Very similar to their Oktoberfest.
get the cheesy fries! soooo good! and the maroon effect beer is good. so is the crab bisque. and you get a lot of the crab bisque. that and a salad are more than enough.

Can't go wrong with the Bull & Bones. Definitely try the beer sampler as well.

The seasonal marzen German amber lager is great and they now have $6 pitchers from 4-9 daily.
- Sunday brunch is good, but you'll probably end up with a hungover waitress.
- 02/18/11 - Munich Dunkel is the seasonal brew and it's great.
- Ask for 'The Defense' - a mix of the Lunch Pale Ale and Maroon Effect.
