The service here is quite friendly,. I have come a very long way, here, and I had the white fish sandwich, and I must say it is very good and worth the trip even though my friend lives over here.
Umm... Black ForestPastrami! Cabbage rolls! The only thing missing at this location is the fountain drinks like their other location has. And chicken fried steak. Otherwise it's a gem!
Came here to have a tasty deli sandwich, but it was too early. Very pleasantly surprised that they would have excellent guacamole wrapped into a fresh breakfast burrito. Best I've had.
Killer combination Cabbage soup (it's fantastic) & 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Ask 4 bread brought to the table; enough delicious meat in the Brent's 1/2 to make two regular 1/2 sandwiches.
Corned beef hash is a must. Such flavorful pastrami. Kathy was a dear. It may have taken forty years to get out of the desert, but only 10 minutes to inhale breakfast. Worth the trip.
At Brent's, an LA sandwich institution, the smoked pile of peppered-at-the-edges pastrami seem to multiply endlessly with every bite. There is something more at work than just your average reuben.
Skirt steak tacos and fried zucchini are to die for!! Matzo ball soup is great and the tonguesandwich for oldies. Place is a bit pricey but definately worth it. Great service.
The Heartstopper is AMAZING. Portions are very generous. Asked if we'd like bread at the beginning; we didn't realize it was complimentary. Half a sandwich later we were all glad for our mistake!
Corned beef reuben is great. They have a cucumber salad that is a great alternative to coleslaw. I don't care for the potato salad. Skinny and curly fries are best. Free rye bread, just ask for it!
Best deli anywhere in the world. Even their pastrami is better than anything in NYC. Zagat rates it a 26+ more than 10 yrs in a row. Simply a deli must do in the Valley and L.A,
The Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious. This was my first time at the restaurant and the place was crazy, busy, bit I suspect this is the norm. From looking around, no one seemed to mind. :-)
Everything is fabulous at Brents. Some of my favorite matzoh ball soup, corn beefRuben, chopped liver, sweet-and-sour cabbage soup, and mushroom barley soup,
