As a vegetarian who goes to BonChon, I order the Local Vegetable Seared Tofu Rice Bowl. It's delicious. The atmosphere is great and the beer list is not bad. It's definitely a great place for lunch.
First time at midtown bon chon and I didn't get to try the wings that everyone raves about. I had a groupon. pot stickers good. Lafreida burger very good. rib eye steak with shredded beef was bland.
Not your average wing, Bon Chon makes Korean fried chicken that's twice fried leaving the meat succulent and skin thin and crunchy like a potato chip. We consider it the crack of all chicken wings!
Just skip the hot sauce wings and stick with soy garlic. Every time my friends and I try to add variety by getting the hot sauce wings, no one ends up eating them.
Bon Chon's new location is now open and the place looks great! It's more of a dine-in location than take out and has a "soft opening menu" as of it's opening on Sat. August 20th, 2011.
If you want your restaurant to appear posh, don't have take out.. If you have takeout don't eye me up and up and act pissy when I pick up my take out in pj's
Really slow service. Even with the restaurant mostly empty it was a 30 min wait for the fried chicken, Also not sure how the table next to us managed to be serve faster when ordering similar things
Been here 4 times. Food is good, but takes a long time to come out. Not used to, but now they charge 50 cents if u wanted hot sauce on the side with your chicken. >_<
