Had the Pork Jäger Schnitzel was fantastic! I also tried the Beef Schnitzel, Duck Spätzle and Sausage Sampler. Finished with Sacher Torte. Everything was wonderful!
German for "blue goose," this Wirtshaus-style Tribeca spot serves up modern Austro-German cuisine. You can't go wrong with their traditional Wiener Schnitzel. For a sweet treat, try the Apple Strudel. Read more
The restaurant is officially on my list of places with consistent & amazing food. Have tried the pork Wiener schnitzel, pork jäger schnitzel, borscht, wursts, & a few appetizers and desserts. So good!
Surprisingly the chicken wings are awesome and the sausages are the best I've ever had. Get the egg white and fruit dessert to end. Happy hour daily from 4-7.
German beer. Freshly made pretzels. Home made sausage. Amazing schnitzel. Crazy meringue dessert. There's a reason this place has been here for decades.
Wherever you see trout on the menu, get it, and leave room for the dessert pancake if it's available. (haben eine große Mahlzeit = have a great meal) Read more

Interesting selection of German and Austrian beers on tap. I'm a beer lover and I hadn't had half of the beer menu. Schnitzel is tender and the spatzle is delicious! Get the red cabbage salad!
Best Bavarian style food and beer in the city, and it's not kitschy like most German places. Great beer, try the Weihenstephaner, and the sausage platter is great!
Came here for Christmas dinner, prix fixe menu. Awesome interior with white Christmas lights and walls covered in art posters and band posters. The Kaiserschmarm for dessert is great.
Perfect for those on jury duty at nearby courthouses. German-Austrian classics on the menu include Wiener schnitzel (breaded and fried), Jaeger schnitzel (with mushroom sauce), bratwurst and spätzle. Read more
I recently came to appreciate Austrian food, and I have Chef Kurt Gutenbrenner to thank for it. I cannot get enough of his venison goulash with spaetzle or any of those juicy würsts. -Gail Simmons, To
Brezl delicious, as are sausages. The one with cheese amazing. Poached eggs don't come with toast, and baked ham deeply average and cold from the fridge.
