- Dana DJanuary 6, 2015Tucked away in NE Charlotte, but def worth hunting down. The signature is the Jalapeño Pale Ale, but grab yourself a sampler and kick back on the cozy deck. You're sure to be pleased.
- ThelocaltripperDecember 30, 2016Great beer! The bartender was a little scary. I wasn't sure if she was nice or not... tried the pride (IPA) and little room (brewed with tea). Growlers are super cheap! 13 bucks for 64oz.
- Kaiyah OnFireFebruary 2, 2013The Mexicali Stout is the most interesting flavoured stout EVER! When they speak of spicy notes of a Mexican mole, you can actually taste each of the spices. They use actually use cocoa nibs.
- Rachel WhinneryOctober 3, 2015Fun place in NoDa to get a drink. Stay inside or grab a seat outside at a picnic table. FYI: parking can weird. But the beer is good.
- Lee MovicJanuary 31, 2015Neat space across the parking lot from NoDa Brewing. Free peanuts in a big bucket by the entrance, and dog friendly. Open later than NoDa, too, so a good second stop!
- Ryan NovakJuly 10, 2017Pretty much love every beer they have. They also have the ultra soft toilet paper in their restrooms... they take care of their customers all around 🙌🏻
- Kari HessMarch 28, 2019One of Charlotte's OG breweries. A great laid back vibe to go along with some great beers. Try the Doin' Thyme or Jalapeno Pale Ale.
- Jaana RosenbergOctober 26, 2014Everyone whos in the NoDa region, should visit Birdsong and have a little chat Jim (?). There is a man who has left his mark in the brew world!
- Haven't tried a beer I don't like! A big fan of the jalapeño, sunshine and bookends.
- I love everything about this place. They have some of the best local beers. My favorite is the higher ground IPA.
- Great Belgian styles as well as American IPA, but the use of herbs really puts everything over the top
- JoeOctober 4, 2012Come see opie when he barrens and be sure to tell him how handsome he is. Also his beard is glorious. Let him know about the glory of his beard as well

- Jalapeño beer the only drink i drink here, to good to switch
- Jalapeño pale ale is a MUST try. It's not what you would think...not much heat, but all the flavor of a fresh cut jalapeño!
- JessC ⚓October 15, 2012The ladies tees run small, so order a size larger than you normally wear. Get a growler of the Doin' Thyme!
