What a fun brunch spot! Must get is the BBQ Bacon Bloody Mary! And you gotta love the Bash Style Burger which has won Burger Bash multiple times! Confused as why the brunch menu ends up 1pm though
Go during lunch, sit at the bar, say hello to Tim the Bartender, and order the Bash Burger, medium-rare. It's all from Creekstone Farms (which is Halal). The pickles add a crunch, but you'd be ok w/o.
Although I've experienced both excellent and abysmal service, definitely don't miss the Bash Burger featuring Bacon Jam or the Classic Beef Tartare. Read all about my visit on WinstonWanders below! Read more
You only need to know 3 things: 1) the Bash burger is out of this world and truly an award-winning burger 🍔🏆; 2) the service is amazing, super cool waiter; 3) the music rocks! An absolute must 👌🏼
Y'know, I was skeptical, but I really like it here. It's just burgers and other dressed up pub fare, but I appreciate a place that isn't chasing every trend (especially in this neighborhood).
The Bash Style Burger has a juicy patty which is smeared with Dijon mustard before being grilled. Add in special sauce & a brioche roll topped with a fried onion ring, and you have yourself a lunch!
Risotto croquettes are delicious and cheesy. Rosemary tots are very good. I got the Bash, medium rare. The meat was juicy, and the toppings flavorful. The burger was salty at times, but overall good.
Greasy yet undeniably a tower of pure deliciousness – The Burger Bash’s tender meat was a burst of flavors with its unique onion & bacon jam perfectly topped with a crunchy, golden onion ring.
Maybe the best burger I've ever had! Juicy and delicious. One things that's still bothering me is that both bartenders picked up the square cube of ice with their hands...gross. Use a scoop
Composed of caramelized onion & bacon jam, you can't go wrong with the Bash Style. One of the juiciest patties with a mixture of savory & sweet, it's just too hard to put down. Onion rings are a plus.
Try the chicken and waffles that's only offered for brunch on Saturdays. Absolutely amazing. The Mac and cheese with spinach and caramelized bacon bits is worth a shot too
Bash burger is great but definitely save room for them desserts. The banana cream pie and sundaes are fantastic, and depending on the day you might get a pretty amazing pie of the day as well!
This is a great spot to get a delicious burger and wash it down with a glass of wine from their extensive wine lists! Come out here for brunch and lunch :-)
Ridiculously long wait, even with a reservation. BUT...their bash burger is probably one of the best burgers I've had in the city. Don't forget to get tots on the side!
Top of my burger list! I got a plain burger w/cheddar + special sauce(delish)! Also had a 'Blood Simple' cocktail-fab. Fries were perfect. Good ambience. Need to save room for dessert next time!!
Grub Street off-menu dish: Schnitzel. "super-crispy off-menu schnitzel is made with either pork or veal, comes with seasonal vegetables, and gets finished with lemon-caper buerre blanc."
Try the Bash Style burger, Chef Josh Capon’s NYC Food & Wine Festival award-winning creation—garnished with caramelized-onion-and-bacon jam, American cheese and shaved pickles. Read more
Bash Burger 100% lives up to the hype - legit. But the Truffle Burger is even better ($26, limited availability). And get the Asian BBQ Chicken Lollipops for an appetizer. Delicious.
Their bash burger has won some contest for best in NYC 4 years running. It's very good, but I didn't exactly see what made it "the best." That said, nice spot for late dinner & drinks
The Bash Burger was so good I didn't want to finish eating it...because then it would be gone. Seriously. I've had some good burgers in the city - this one is top 2 for sure.
B&B always delivers. Good burger, decent fries, but relatively pricey. If you're looking for an easy place for a have a nice dinner, though, look no further.
The white bean soup was a phenomenal starter, and the Bash Burger definitely didn't disappoint. DEFINITELY coming back to try the white truffle and lamb burgers.
The round booth table is the best! Otherwise the tables by the window are really great too! Be prepared to leave with your clothes smelling like food though. Really amazing food, but still...
